1. Agreement to Terms
By booking an appointment, visiting our facility, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms constitute a legal agreement between you (the "Client" or "Guest") and tranquiseal (the "Service Provider," "we," "us," or "our").
2. Definitions
- Services: Thai massage treatments, bodywork sessions, and related wellness services provided at our Taichung location
- Session: A single appointment for massage or bodywork treatment
- Practitioner: Trained Thai massage therapist employed by or affiliated with tranquiseal
- Facility: Our physical location at Meicun Road, Section 1, No. 73, Taichung 408, Taiwan
3. Service Description
tranquiseal provides traditional Thai massage and bodywork services. Our treatments include:
- Foot and Lower Leg Restoration sessions
- Couple's Shared Experience treatments
- Post-Activity Recovery sessions
Services are provided by trained practitioners following traditional Thai massage methods. Session duration, techniques, and pricing are as published on our website and in our facility.
We reserve the right to modify service offerings, pricing, and availability with reasonable notice to active clients.
4. Eligibility and Age Requirements
To receive services at tranquiseal, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- Provide accurate health information when requested
- Disclose any medical conditions relevant to bodywork treatment
5. Booking and Appointments
5.1 Making Appointments
Appointments can be made by phone, through our website contact form, or in person at our facility. Bookings are confirmed when you receive acknowledgment from us via phone or email.
5.2 Cancellation Policy
We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the session price. No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full session fee.
We understand that emergencies occur and will consider waiving fees on a case-by-case basis for documented emergencies.
5.3 Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment, the session will end at the originally scheduled time to avoid disrupting subsequent bookings. You will be charged for the full session duration booked.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Pricing
Current service pricing is:
- Foot and Lower Leg Restoration: TWD 3,000
- Couple's Shared Experience: TWD 7,000
- Post-Activity Recovery Session: TWD 15,000
Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice to active clients. New pricing applies to future bookings only.
6.2 Payment Methods
We accept cash and major credit cards. Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance.
6.3 Refund Policy
Refunds are not provided for completed sessions. If you are dissatisfied with a service, please speak with management immediately so we can address concerns. We may offer partial refunds or complimentary future sessions at our discretion for legitimate service issues.
7. Health and Safety
7.1 Health Disclosure
You must inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, surgeries, or health concerns that may affect treatment. This includes but is not limited to:
- Cardiovascular conditions
- Recent surgeries or injuries
- Pregnancy
- Chronic pain conditions
- Skin conditions or infectious diseases
- Medications that may affect treatment response
Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in treatment being declined or terminated without refund.
7.2 Contraindications
Certain conditions may prevent us from providing treatment. Practitioners reserve the right to decline service if contraindications are present or if continuing treatment poses potential risks.
7.3 Not Medical Treatment
Thai massage and bodywork services are not substitutes for medical care. We do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe treatments. Always consult qualified healthcare providers for medical concerns.
8. Client Conduct
Clients are expected to:
- Treat practitioners and staff with respect
- Follow practitioner instructions during sessions
- Communicate openly about comfort levels and pressure preferences
- Maintain personal hygiene appropriate for bodywork
- Respect other guests' privacy and quiet environment
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate sessions if clients engage in inappropriate behavior, harassment, or violation of facility policies.
9. Privacy and Confidentiality
Your personal and health information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. All practitioners and staff maintain confidentiality regarding your information and treatment details.
10. Limitation of Liability
Thai massage involves physical manipulation and may result in temporary soreness or discomfort. While practitioners work with care and attention, you acknowledge that:
- Services are provided "as is" without guarantees of specific outcomes
- Results vary based on individual factors
- Temporary soreness after treatment is normal and not indicative of injury
- You assume responsibility for following aftercare recommendations
To the extent permitted by law, tranquiseal's liability for any claims arising from services is limited to the amount paid for the specific session in question.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service use.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, marketing materials, and facility signage is owned by tranquiseal. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Taichung, Taiwan.
13.2 Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through direct communication. Contact us at [email protected] to discuss concerns.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date.
Continued use of services after changes indicates acceptance of updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated to active clients via email.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and tranquiseal regarding service use.
